A musical duodrama. An auto-fiction show about rivalry, ambition, war, and difficult life choices, with music by Piotr Mania and text by Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało.
Production is underway on a musical inspired by the life of a pre-war film star. Two actresses, sisters Kasia and Basia Kurdej, are competing for the role of Ina Benita, the first femme fatale of Polish cinema. We take a look behind the scenes at the theater, where the past mixes with the present, and the boundaries between truth and fiction seem to be becoming increasingly blurred.
