A happening adaptation of the last monograph published during the lifetime of Professor Zbigniew Majchrowski, an outstanding Gdańsk researcher of culture, literature, and theater.
An event centered around critical thinking about theatrical life in an arch-drama written by a widely known bard. We invited all sensitive souls who wanted to visit a crypt full of romantic ghosts, dead symbols, iconic performances, decaying myths, porridge, vodka, apple pie, and hard-boiled eggs.
An elegiac community experiment.
We invited the professor's loved ones to participate in the reading, and his colleagues and students also accepted the invitation. The solemn, funeral-like, and romantic theme was transformed into a light-hearted, friendly, and inclusive ritual on the borderline between theater and a personal, difficult-to-describe and define experience of intimate dialogue.
